Harry Potter rolled over inside his blankets without waking up. First person narrators cannot be everywhere at once and thus cannot get all sides of the story.
The narrator isn't limited by what one character knows, sort of like the narrator is God. Kristie Sweet has been writing professionally since 1982, most recently publishing for various websites on topics like health and wellness, and education.
As a reader, you can only experience the story through this person's eyes. I would love that!
What makes this point of view interesting, and challenging, is that all of the events in the story are filtered through the narrator and explained in his or her own unique voice.

Make the switch obvious with chapter or section breaks. It allows a bit more freedom than first person.
